Carlos Sousa runs the Chorus program, which is open to teens in eighth grade through college freshman.
Larry Deming leads the Strings program with Alison Corigliano teaching.
Albert Montecalvo is the leader of the Band program, with Anthony Nunes set to teach.
Ase-AmenRa Kariamu is teaching Afrikan Drumming.
The Bands program is meeting Monday through Friday until July 15, and has four levels along with an introduction to Afrikan Drumming and the chance to build electronic instruments.
Some form of a Strings program has been run by the Centre since 1950, and this year's version will be at Western State Connecticut University's White Hall from July 25 to August 5.
The course syllabus includes basic fiddling and rhythm classes for beginning students, and orchestral repertoire, advanced fiddling and composition classes for more advanced students.
For the first time, the Centre is offering a day-long option for Strings students as well.
Tuition for each class ranges from $350 for Strings and Bands, $225 for Afrikan Drumming, and $125 for Chorus. Financial aid is available for prospective students.
